Thylacine is a fearless, experimental French multi-instrumentalist and producer known for his progressive sounds, melodramatic tunes, and fresh electronica. He has developed a taste for composing through his travels, each album that followed has always been synonymous with his encounters and discoveries on the road. Combining music and imagery, Thylacine helps his listeners discover and navigate his very own world through his sonic journey: from Norway’s frozen sea to the shores of the Bosphorus. His synthesizers are combined with traditional instruments, such as the saxophone, piano, flute, duduk, or saz, creating nine delicate, deep, wonderful, and oftentimes melancholic pieces.
Melisa Su is an actress, DJ, and producer from Ankara. Studying at the faculty of music and performing arts at Bilkent University, Melisa started as a DJ in Ankara’s nightclubs, her techno sets took her to Turkey’s other large cities Istanbul and Izmir. Her story takes her to another capital, this time to Switzerland, where she continued her studies at the Bern Academy of the Arts. Pursuing a dual career in acting and music production, her live sets feature heavy bass lines where she blends different techno genres including Acid and Detroit.
Serdar Mutlu, aka Mitanni, is an artist, DU, and a graduate of the Zurich University of Arts (ZHdK). His music focuses on low temp Kurdish, Anatolian, and Mesopotamian deep-house. That’s right, think of finest sunset Organica from the east: this is where melodramatic tunes meet 4/4 deep-house basslines.
