Die Lieder sind in norwegischem Dialekt gesungen, kreisen um Themen wie Gipsies, Krieg und organisierte Kriminalität. Man hört eine Pumporgel, Ölfässer werden mit Brecheisen bearbeitet, es gibt eine Gasmaske, alles basierend auf energetischem Gypsy-Punkrock. Im Jahr 2003, nach einem 30-minütigen Auftritt auf dem Eurosonic-Festival in Groningen, wurde die Band für 20 weitere Festivals in ganz Europa für den folgenden Sommer gebucht. Das europäische Abenteuer hatte begonnen! Im Jahr 2003 erscheint dann das viel schwerere und dunklere Album “Evig Pint”, das beweist, dass die Kaizers mehr sind als nur eine Party- & Zirkus-Band. Das dritte Album “Maestro” – vielleicht das Meisterwerk bis jetzt – wurde im Jahr 2005 veröffentlicht. “Maestro” war das letzte Album der Trilogie, die mit “Ompa til du dør” begann. Hier zeigte das kreative Universum des Kaizers Orchestra zum ersten Mal das volle Potential. 2008 wurde dann “Maskineri” veröffentlicht. Mit diesem Album vollzog die Band einen (vorsätzlichen) Bruch mit ihrer Vergangenheit und produzierte ein von der Kritik gefeiertes Platin-Album. Die neuste Trilogy hat soeben begonnen: am 28.
