So begann Olivier in der zweiten Hälfte der 90er-Jahre mit dem Krautrock-Urgestein Faust zusammenzuarbeiten, zu welchen mittlerweile auch Amaury gestossen ist.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Nun in Italien ansässig, wurde das Album «Ego:Echo» (2001), von Michael Gira (Swans, Angels Of Light) produziert und auf seinem Young God-Label veröffentlicht, mit dem italienischen Drummer Matteo Dainese, die folgenden «Nouvel Air» (2003) und «Rodeo Massacre» (2005) von Cambuzat mit einem vollständig italienischen Line-Up eingespielt.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Letztes Jahr ist Manchion wieder dazugestossen, was sich zuerst in der Gründung des Duos Cambuzat\u002FManchion als Cargo Cult äusserte, bevor auch der ursprüngliche Drummer Franck Lantignac wieder ins stromaufwärts fahrende Boot gestiegen ist. Das nächste Album in Originalbesetzung ist in Arbeit.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Zu den düster-psychedelischen, schwer lastenden aber ständig vorwärtstreibenden, die Spannung ständig am Rand zu einem Ausbruch haltenden Klanglandschaften Ulan Bators wird der Auftritt von Aethenor hervorragend passen, einem internationalistischen Projekt von Musikern aus Genf, London und New York, aus Gruppen wie Guapo, Khanate, Phô, Miasma & the Carousel of Headless Horses, Shora und Sunn O))).\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Ihr Album «Deep in Ocean Sunk the Lamp of Light» entstand als Resultat einer Reihe von nächtlichen Improvisations-Sessions in Genf, Amsterdam, Berlin und Linz im Zeitraum 2003-2005.
