Und wir meinen Metal, nicht wie Metallica, sondern Hardcore, der seine Wurzeln im 80er-Jahre Punk und sich über die Jahre von Metal beeinflusst sein eigenes Genre erschaffen hat, mit grosser Fangemeinde und als Ursprung verschiedener politischer Bewegungen gilt. So auch zb der Straight Edge Bewegung.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Im Oktober 2013 reiste eben diese Schweizer HC Band VALE TUDO für 4 Gigs nach Marokko. Eine spannende Reise im Namen der Underground-Musik, dokumentiert von dem jungen Berner Filmemacher Johannes Hartmann (Decoy Collective)\u003Cbr \u002F>\nIm Jahr 2003 wurden 14 Heavy Metal Fans und Musiker aus Casablanca (Marokko) wegen ”Satanismus”und ”Gefährdung des Islamischen Glaubens”zu mehrjährigen Haftstrafen verurteilt. Zehn Jahre später wollen VALE TUDO zusammen mit Johannes Hartmann herausfinden, wie sich die marokkanische Metal-Szene seither entwickelt hat. Die Band ist in der Schweizer Hardcore-Szene bestens bekannt, haben fünf Studioalben herausgegeben, gehören mit ihren schweisstreibenden Live-Shows in die Kategorie Wildsäue und sind in Marokko auf gleich enthusiastische, emotionale und wilde Metal-Liebhaber getroffen «A Trip not a Tour – Swiss Hardcore in Morocco» macht deutlich, dass Freitagsgebet und Rock’n’Roll durchaus vereinbar sind und zeigt, wie Musik einmal mehr als Brückenbauerin über geografische, kulturelle und religiöse Hürden dient.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Johannes Hartmann von Decoy Collective hielt während dem Trip die ganze Zeit die Kamera auf die fünf tätowierten Jungs und führte zahlreiche emotionale Interviews mit Metalheads, die Auskunft über ihre Akzeptanz und Einblicke in ihr Leben gaben. Entstanden ist eine Dokumentation über einen musikalischen Trip durch ein Land, in dem Diskriminierung und Angst an der Tagesordnung sind.
