Comitissa is a young DJne based in Basel. She’s a long-time student of humane sciences of doubtful importance to the world. Fortunately she’s currently also learning the more substantial craft of live sound engineering in a club in Berne. She passes a huge part of her free time, and too much of her actual study-time, hunting for new music, especially in the bass-heavy genres that elude a definitive classification. Show her a dark, half-time, strong-on-the-bass 160bpm track, and you will have her hyperventilate for a good while.

Another of her musical hunting ground is Latin American and African club music, which of course is a totally insufficient and superficial description for what she really means. Even better, if every now and then these two genreless genres unite and create a wonderful global bass love child.
