Saalschutz is a Zurich based Live-Electro-Pop/Punk-Duo who wrote numerous hymns and hits for people who love to dance, to think, to laugh and to drink. And who at te same time – like Melvilles Bartleby – “prefer not to”. Contradictions don’t mean discomfort to Saalschutz. Not even discomfort means discomfort to Saalschutz. They Celebrate the inevitable, the errors and the struggles.

Saalschutz are by many considered pioneers of what is referred to as “Electropunk” or “Ravepunk” as well as warrantors of a continuous development of the genre, notorius for simple and catchy melodies and witty lyrics written in German/Swiss-German, French and English.
