Welcome to the first edition for Corso & Amigos!
Without music, life would be a mistake. (Friedrich Nietzsche)
Bertrand Gobat aka Bertel Gee, born in 1971 is a Swiss DJ based near Bern. He started mixing vinyls in the late 80s and had his first public appearences in 1990 @ „La Case à chocs“ in Neuchâtel. During his first DJ-ing years, he mainly played Funk/Acid Jazz/Soul followed by approximately 2 years of Trip-Hop. After that, a DJ-ing flatmate took him to his first outdoor Psytrance-Party in the Swiss mountains. He was immediately fascinated by the familiar Psytrance-Community in Switzerland and he rapidly became a Psytrance-DJ and party promoter. After approx. 10 years involved in the Psytrance-scene, while returning from festival in Northern Germany, he discovered Berlin and its underground techno clubs. Again, he was immediately fascinated, and developped an intense relationship with Berlin which is still going on today. Beside of this, he left the Psytrance scene and started with a new organisation named Horny Loud Minimal Collective which had his home-base @ the well known Bern underground club „Formbar“. He played alongside artists like Alex Smoke, Tolga Fidan, Marek Hemmann, Jeremy P. Caulfield, Seph, Mihai Popoviciu, Nico Purman, Dinky, Eric Johnston, Pompelmoessap Jacqui, and many more. For professional and familiar reasons, he reduced his DJ-Activities in the last 2 years, what still remains unchanged is his intense passion for electronic music and a strong attachment with the techno-scene in general.
Today, Bertrand is playing groovy and quite melodious sets between techno, minimal, tech-house and deep house. He is also a proud member of the „Raumrausch“ crew which organises semi-private „All-inclusive“ parties for chosen people in special locations outside the usual cities and clubs.
