Born and raised in Ecuador, Cutkachi moved to Switzerland in 2006 where he started to produce bassweight oriented music around 2009. In the last years he shared stages as a DJ with the likes of Mala, Gantz, Tunnidge, Boddika, Sleeper or Alley Cat in dark underground venues as well as at big raves in Poland, Germany and Switzerland. To make sure his recent hometown Berne has its own serious soundsystem nights, he’s also a main part of Dubtopia, an event series for the above mentioned kind of musical madness. After several dubplates he released his first vinyl record, a split 12″ with Phrex on swiss abstract dub/ambient label re:st.

Cutkachis productions nowadays might be best described as a hybrid between garage and post-dubstep tunes. If he wasn’t already busy enough, he started re:dio, a web-radio station focusing on carefully selected electronic music, mainly for the interested and sonically hungry folks in his homeland, but in the end for everyone who wants to tune in of course.
